New Visitor

Welcome to First Presbyterian Church!  Thanks for visiting our website and taking the time to learn about our faith community.  We hope that all of the information you are looking for about our church and our many ministries and activities is in the site.  We want you to experience the love of Jesus Christ here.  We invite you to worship with us, and you are welcome to participate in the activities of the church.

The First Presbyterian Church is a Christian community with many avenues designed to help people just like you grow in your faith through numerous worship, educational, and mission opportunities.   With this in mind, we'd like to offer the following tips for all our first-time visitors:

When do I need to arrive?

We offer two Sunday worship services.  Our traditional service is at 9:00 a.m., and our contemporary service is at 10:30 a.m. Adult Christian Education classes meet during both services.  Our fellowship time is immediately after each worship service. Join us for coffee and doughnuts, and take time to meet our church family.

Where do my children go?

Children of all ages are welcome in our worship services.  We also offer nursery care for infants through age 3 during both services.  At First Presbyterian Church, our Sunday School strives to bring the message of Christ's love to children.  We do that not only with our curriculum but with the adults who demonstrate what a real relationship with Jesus Christ is.  First Presbyterian offers Sunday School for children ages 3 - middle-school age at both the 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services.  We also offer a Youth Bible Study for junior and senior highs.

What should I wear?

Attire ranges from jeans to suit and tie.  Many people choose to dress business casual, but comfort is our primary focus.
Traditional “church clothes” are the norm for those attending the 9am Traditional Worship Service, while the 10:30am Contemporary Worship Service is more casual.
